MD Pharmacology

1. Must hold an MBBS degree with 1-year compulsory internship completed.
2. Must have NMC/State Medical Council registration.
3. Must qualify NEET-PG.
4. Participation in AIQ/State counselling is mandatory.
5. Must meet physical and medical fitness requirements.

The M.D. (Pharmacology) program provides advanced knowledge of drug mechanisms, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics. The curriculum includes experimental pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, toxicology, therapeutics, and research methodology. Students learn to design, conduct, and analyse research studies, including clinical trials and drug safety evaluations. Teaching responsibilities, departmental practicals, seminars, journal clubs, and laboratory work form a significant part of the training. Graduates are prepared for careers in medical colleges, pharmaceutical industries, research institutes, regulatory bodies, and clinical research organisations.

1. Register for NEET-PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
2. Appear and qualify with the required cutoff score.
3. Participate in MCC (All India Quota) / State counselling.
4. Select M.D. Pharmacology during choice filling.
5. Receive seat allotment based on rank and preferences.
6. Report to the allotted college for document verification.
7. Pay the course fee to secure admission.
8. Join the academic program as per the institutional calendar.
