MD Pharmacology

The MD Pharmacology program at NSMCH, Patna, is structured to provide advanced knowledge and hands-on training in the science of drugs and therapeutics. The course emphasizes experimental pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, toxicology, and pharmacovigilance. Students are trained in drug development, ethical conduct of clinical trials, rational drug use, and pharmacogenomics. NSMCH has well-equipped laboratories for experimental work, including animal studies and modern simulation methods, to enhance practical skills. • MBBS degree from an NMC/MCI recognized institution.
• Completion of 1-year compulsory internship.
• Permanent or provisional registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
