The curriculum combines structured classroom teaching with extensive clinical rounds in pediatric wards, outpatient departments (OPD), and neonatal units. Being part of a government tertiary care hospital, trainees are exposed to a broad spectrum of pediatric cases, enabling strong clinical decision-making skills. Emphasis is also placed on preventive child healthcare, growth monitoring, community outreach, and research methodology to prepare graduates for roles in hospitals, clinics, academic settings, and public health programmes where child health is a priority.
