MD Pediatrics

• Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India.
• Internship: Completion of a one-year compulsory rotating internship.
• Entrance Exam: Qualifying NEET-PG examination.
• Registration: Permanent or provisional registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

The MD Paediatrics program aims to provide in-depth knowledge of the physiological and pathological aspects of child health. The curriculum includes:

• General Paediatrics: Study of common childhood illnesses and preventive care.
• Neonatology: Specialised care for newborns.
• Pediatric Emergencies: Management of acute conditions in children.
• Pediatric Infectious Diseases: Diagnosis and treatment of infections in children.
• Pediatric Cardiology: Heart-related conditions in children.
• Pediatric Neurology: Disorders of the nervous system in children.
• Pediatric Gastroenterology: Digestive system issues in children.

Students are expected to engage in practical sessions, research projects, and seminars to enhance their understanding and skills.

1. NEET-PG Examination: Candidates must appear for and qualify in the NEET-PG examination.
2. Counselling: Participate in the counselling process conducted by the respective authorities.
3. Seat Allotment: Based on NEET-PG rank and seat availability, candidates are allotted seats.
4. Document Verification: Submit necessary documents, including MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, NEET-PG scorecard, and category certificate (if applicable).
5. Fee Payment: Pay the prescribed tuition fees and other charges.
6. Commencement of Course: Begin the course as per the academic schedule.
