MD Pediatrics

A degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) as equivalent to a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is required to be eligible to enrol in the program.

A Master of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics’ is a postgraduate degree in medicine that requires three years to complete and focuses on the medical conditions that affect infants, children, and adolescents. The division is specifically responsible for managing medical care for children and teenagers. People younger than 18 years old are eligible to receive paediatric care, as defined by the American Academy of Paediatrics’ criteria.

The lack of skilled professionals in the field of pediatrics guarantees a large number of job openings for qualified medical professionals. A person who has completed postgraduate training in pediatrics can work as a pediatrician or Child Specialist in one of the nation's many private or public hospitals. Alternatively, they can establish their private clinic and work as independent practitioners.

Admissions will be based on merit and the results of entrance examinations, followed by a group discussion or individual interview.
