The M.D. Pathology program at Vilasrao Deshmukh Government Medical College, Latur is a structured three‑year postgraduate course designed to develop advanced competencies in disease diagnosis through laboratory medicine. The Pathology department is well‑established with experienced faculty and modern laboratory infrastructure including histopathology labs, central clinical laboratory, blood bank facilities, immunohistochemistry services, and autopsy labs. Students engage in comprehensive training in tissue diagnosis, haematological investigations, cytology, and clinical correlations, supported by seminars, case discussions, research activities, and laboratory rotations. The intake for this specialty is 4 seats per year, preparing graduates for academic, research, or clinical diagnostic careers in medical institutions and laboratories.

1. Qualify NEET‑PG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. Register for postgraduate medical counseling through MCC (15% All India Quota) or the Maharashtra State PG counseling process.
3. Participate in counseling rounds based on NEET‑PG rank and reservation category.
4. Choose M.D. Pathology, Vilasrao Deshmukh Government Medical College, Latur during choice filling.
