MD Pathology

1. MBBS degree recognized by NMC
2. Completion of one-year compulsory internship on or before the prescribed cut-off date
3. Qualification in NEET-PG with the required percentile
4. Eligibility as per NMC, KUHS, MCC / CEE Kerala, and Government of Kerala regulations
5. Fulfilment of bond/service obligations, if applicable

Government Medical College, Kannur (Pariyaram) is a government-run tertiary care teaching institution affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission. The MD Pathology programme provides in-depth training in laboratory diagnostics, histopathology, hematology, cytopathology, clinical pathology, and molecular pathology. Residents gain experience in tissue and fluid analysis, interpretation of laboratory results, quality control, and correlation with clinical findings.
