MD Pathology

SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (SSIMSRC), Davangere, offers the M.D. Pathology program with a comprehensive and practice-oriented academic structure. The Department of Pathology is well-equipped with modern laboratories, microscopy facilities, histopathology and cytology sections, and blood bank services to support advanced training. The curriculum follows National Medical Commission guidelines and emphasizes competency-based learning, diagnostic accuracy, and laboratory management skills. Postgraduate students gain hands-on experience in surgical pathology, hematology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology while actively participating in undergraduate teaching programs. 2. Completion of Compulsory Rotatory Internship
3. Permanent or provisional registration with NMC / State Medical Council
4. Must have qualified NEET-PG in the relevant admission year
5. Admission through centralized counseling as per government norms
