MD Pathology at AJIMS provides advanced training in diagnostic laboratory medicine, including histopathology, cytopathology, hematology, microbiology basics, immunopathology, and molecular techniques. Students receive extensive hands-on training in biopsy reporting, slide interpretation, autopsy pathology, and blood banking. The department is well-equipped with modern laboratories, automated analyzers, cryostats, advanced microscopes, and a large specimen museum. Academic training includes seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, and research projects. Graduates can pursue careers as pathologists, academic faculty, laboratory directors, and consultants in diagnostic centers and hospitals.
