MD Pathology

Overview

The MD Pathology program at Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital (NSMCH), Patna, is designed to develop expertise in understanding, diagnosing, and researching human diseases through laboratory medicine. Students are extensively trained in surgical pathology, cytopathology, hematology, microbiology, and molecular pathology. The department at NSMCH is equipped with modern laboratories, advanced microscopes, automated analyzers, and diagnostic technologies that ensure hands-on experience in routine and specialized tests. The course bridges clinical and laboratory medicine, enabling pathologists to contribute significantly to patient care and research. Eligibility

• Must have completed MBBS from a recognized medical college/university.
• Completion of one-year internship before admission.
• Must possess permanent/provisional registration from NMC/State Medical Council.
• Must have qualified in NEET-PG.
