MD Ophthalmology

Overview

MS Ophthalmology trains graduates in the medical, surgical, and optical management of eye diseases. The curriculum emphasizes clinical skills, surgical techniques (such as cataract, glaucoma, and corneal surgeries), and use of modern diagnostic technologies. Graduates are prepared to work as ophthalmic surgeons, consultants in hospitals/eye institutes, or pursue fellowships in subspecialties like Retina, Cornea, or Pediatric Ophthalmology.

Eligibility

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution
• Completion of internship before the admission cut-off date
• Permanent registration with MCI/State Medical Council
• Qualified in NEET-PG examination
