The MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology program at AIIMS Bilaspur is a three-year postgraduate offering designed to train physicians in the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic medicine. This includes comprehensive training in antenatal, natal, and postnatal care, operative obstetrics (cesarean sections, etc.), gynecological surgeries, management of high‐risk pregnancies, reproductive endocrinology, family planning, and women’s health in general. Students gain exposure to clinical cases through the teaching hospital, participate in surgeries, emergency obstetric care, and maternal‐fetal complications. As AIIMS Bilaspur is under the INI-CET framework, the course is competitive; seats are limited. The training also involves academic activities like case conferences, seminars, research/thesis work, and ethical aspects of patient care. Graduates are expected to serve in hospitals, clinics, public health roles, academic & teaching positions, or further specialist / super-speciality training.

• Complete MBBS and required internship, ensure registration and eligibility.
• Keep track of INI-CET (PG / MD-MS) notification for the admission year.
• Register and appear for the INI-CET exam.
• Obtain a rank that meets or exceeds the cutoff for MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology in AIIMS Bilaspur. (The cutoff rank varies by category and round).
• Participate in counselling / seat allocation as per INI-CET results and available seats in the specialty.
• Document verification, fee payment, and other formalities.
• Join the course and undergo the three‐year MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology academic + clinical curriculum.
