The MD Microbiology program at AFSMRC is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of medical microbiology. Students are trained in various diagnostic techniques, including culture methods, serology, and molecular diagnostics. The program emphasises research and development in microbiological sciences, aiming to equip students with the necessary skills to handle infectious diseases effectively. The department boasts a well-equipped laboratory with automated systems for routine microbiological investigations, including bacteriology, serology, immunology, parasitology, mycology, virology, and tuberculosis culture. 1. NEET-PG Examination: Candidates must appear for and qualify in the NEET-PG examination.
2. Counselling: Participate in the counselling process conducted by the respective authorities.
3. Seat Allotment: Based on NEET-PG rank and seat availability, candidates are allotted seats.
4. Document Verification: Submit necessary documents, including MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, NEET-PG scorecard, and category certificate (if applicable).
5. Fee Payment: Pay the prescribed tuition fees and other charges.
6. Commencement of Course: Begin the course as per the academic schedule.
