Eligibility
- Must hold an MBBS degree (or equivalent) from a recognised medical institution.
- Must have completed the required internship.
- Must qualify NEET-PG exam.
- Must meet the NEET-PG rank / percentile cutoff applicable for the candidate’s reservation category.

Admission Process:
- Complete MBBS and mandatory one-year internship.
- Appear for NEET-PG and obtain a valid score.
- Register for the state postgraduate medical counselling process (Gujarat NEET PG counselling) through the competent authority.
- During counselling, select Microbiology as the speciality and GMERS Sola as preferred institute.
- Seats allocated based on NEET-PG rank, reservation category, and availability of seats. Since only 5 seats are available, competition is reasonably high.
- After allotment, report to GMERS Sola with all original documents (MBBS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, NEET-PG scorecard, registration certificate, identity proof etc.) for verification.
- Pay the required fees / tuition and complete admission formalities.
- Begin the academic programme as per the institute’s schedule.
