MD General Medicine

1. Possess a recognised MBBS degree
2. Completed 1-year compulsory internship on or before the counselling cut-off date
3. Permanent registration with NMC / State Medical Council
4. Must have qualified NEET-PG in the relevant admission year
5. Must satisfy eligibility norms prescribed by DGHS / State PG Medical Counselling Authority

The MD General Medicine programme at Madha Medical College & Research Institute provides in-depth training in managing a wide range of adult medical conditions. Residents gain experience in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, including cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine, and infectious diseases. Training is provided through inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services, along with intensive care exposure. Academic activities include seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, and research projects. 1. Appear for and qualify NEET-PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations
2. Register for Tamil Nadu State PG Medical Counselling or All India Counselling as applicable
3. Select MD General Medicine – Madha Medical College & Research Institute during choice filling
4. Seat allotment based on NEET-PG rank, reservation policy, and seat availability
5. Report to the institute for document verification and fee payment
6. Complete admission formalities and commence the course as per academic schedule
