SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (SSIMSRC), Davangere, offers the M.D. General Medicine program with comprehensive clinical exposure and strong academic training. The Department of General Medicine manages a high patient load across outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and intensive care services, providing residents with extensive hands-on experience. The curriculum follows National Medical Commission guidelines and emphasizes competency-based clinical training, evidence-based practice, and ethical patient care. Postgraduate students actively participate in ward rounds, case discussions, bedside clinics, seminars, and journal clubs. 1. MBBS degree recognized by NMC
2. Completion of Compulsory Rotatory Internship
3. Permanent or provisional registration with NMC / State Medical Council
4. Must have qualified NEET-PG in the relevant admission year
5. Admission through centralized counseling as per government regulations
