    • GMERS Medical College & Civil Hospital, Sola is one of the government medical colleges under the Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society (GMERS). The MD in Radio-Diagnosis programme is designed to train doctors in diagnostic imaging and radiology over a span of 3 years. The Radio-Diagnosis department has a sanctioned intake of 3 seats at GMERS Sola.
       
    • During the course, students are exposed to all major imaging modalities — such as conventional radiography (X-ray), ultrasound, CT, MRI — along with image interpretation, radiological physics, radiation safety, and diagnostic reporting. The curriculum includes lectures, case presentations, seminars, hands-on training, rotations in various radiology sub-areas, and likely thesis / research work. The institution offers exposure via large patient influx in its associated Civil Hospital, enabling good clinical experience. Teaching and assessments follow norms of Gujarat University and NMC.

Eligibility

    • Must hold an MBBS degree from a recognised medical institution. 
    • Must have completed or be in process of completing the one-year mandatory internship. 
    • Must qualify NEET-PG (National Entrance Test for Postgraduate medical courses). 
    • Must meet the minimal NEET-PG rank / percentile cut-off for the reservation category.

Admission Process:

    1. Complete MBBS degree and compulsory internship.
    2. Appear for and obtain a valid score in NEET-PG.
    3. Register for PG counselling in Gujarat (state-level/online).
    4. In counselling, select “Radio-Diagnosis” specialty at GMERS Sola as preferred choice.
    5. Seats allotted based on NEET-PG rank, reservation category, and seat availability.
    6. Once seat is allotted, report to the college with original documents (MBBS certificate, internship certificate, NEET-PG scorecard, medical registration certificate, identity proofs etc.).
    7. Pay tuition/course fees and complete admission formalities.
    8. Enroll in the course, complete orientation, begin academic programme as per schedule.
