Overview

Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur is a government medical institution established in 1963, located in Jail Road, Moudhapara, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The college is affiliated with Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University, Raipur, and is recognized by the National Medical Commission. With a large attached hospital (Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Hospital), it offers diverse clinical exposure and opportunities for hands-on training in General Medicine. The department of General Medicine trains students in inpatient & outpatient management of adult diseases, diagnostic investigations, emergency care, internal medicine wards, and coordination with other specialties. Students benefit from experienced faculty, access to modern diagnostic tools, continuing medical education activities, and research opportunities. The program also includes exposure to community medicine, preventive medicine, and management of chronic as well as acute conditions.

 

Eligibility

• MBBS degree (or equivalent) recognised by NMC or relevant medical authority 
• Completion of the one-year internship (by or before a specified date) 
• Registration (permanent or provisional) with NMC / State Medical Council 
• Qualifying in NEET PG exam, meeting required percentile / cutoff
• Fulfilling category and domicile conditions as per counselling norms (if applicable)
