MD Forensic Medicine

1. MBBS degree from an institution recognized by NMC
2. Completion of 1-year compulsory internship on or before the prescribed cut-off date
3. Qualified NEET-PG examination in the year of admission
4. Eligibility as per MCC / KEA / RGUHS counselling regulations

The M.D. Forensic Medicine program at JJM Medical College, Davanagere is a three-year postgraduate course designed to train medical graduates in the medico-legal aspects of healthcare and law. The curriculum includes forensic pathology, clinical forensic medicine, toxicology, medical jurisprudence, and crime scene investigation. Students receive hands-on training in conducting medicolegal autopsies, examination of victims and accused in legal cases, injury assessment, and preparation of medico-legal reports.
