Overview

The MD DVL program at Dr Chandramma Dayananda Sagar Institute of Medical Education & Research (CDSIMER), Ramanagara, provides comprehensive training in clinical dermatology, aesthetic procedures, dermatosurgery, venereology, and leprosy management. The department is equipped with modern dermatology OPDs, laser therapy units, phototherapy rooms, minor OT setups, and advanced diagnostic tools including dermatoscopy and trichoscopy. Residents gain exposure to a wide range of skin disorders, conduct cosmetic procedures like chemical peels and laser treatments, and manage infectious and immune-mediated dermatological diseases. The academic curriculum includes seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, slides seminars, and dermatopathology sessions. With strong clinical volume, experienced faculty, and hands-on procedural training, CDSIMER prepares dermatology residents for careers in clinical dermatology, cosmetology, dermatosurgery, venereology, and subspecialties such as Pediatric Dermatology, Aesthetic Dermatology, and Dermato-Oncology.

Eligibility

1. MBBS from a recognized medical college
2. Completed internship within the official cutoff date
3. Must qualify NEET-PG
4. Must participate in KEA PG Medical Counselling
5. Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration
6. Must complete university-level document verification
