The MD DVL program at Dr Chandramma Dayananda Sagar Institute of Medical Education & Research (CDSIMER), Ramanagara, provides comprehensive training in clinical dermatology, aesthetic procedures, dermatosurgery, venereology, and leprosy management. The department is equipped with modern dermatology OPDs, laser therapy units, phototherapy rooms, minor OT setups, and advanced diagnostic tools including dermatoscopy and trichoscopy. Residents gain exposure to a wide range of skin disorders, conduct cosmetic procedures like chemical peels and laser treatments, and manage infectious and immune-mediated dermatological diseases. The academic curriculum includes seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, slides seminars, and dermatopathology sessions.
