MD Biochemistry

The MD – Bio‑Chemistry program at Dr. V.R.K. Women’s Medical College, Teaching Hospital & Research Centre, Hyderabad is a 3‑year postgraduate degree designed to develop expert knowledge in biochemical principles applied to clinical diagnostics and research. The curriculum deepens understanding of molecular and metabolic pathways, enzymology, hormonal regulation, nutrition, and biochemical changes in disease states. 1. Must possess a MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
2. Must have completed one‑year compulsory internship or should be likely to complete it on or before the specified date (e.g., 15th August in year of admission).
3. Must have a valid NEET‑PG score and appear in NEET‑PG counselling.
4. Must have permanent/provisional registration certificate from the National Medical Commission or State Medical Council.
5. Must meet minimum percentile/cut‑off as specified by NEET‑PG counselling authority (e.g., 50th percentile general, 40–45th for reserved categories).
