MD (Ayurveda) in Rasashastra and Bhaishajyakalpana

The MD (Ayurveda) – Rasashastra Evam Bhaishajyakalpana programme at R.A. Podar Medical College (Ayu.) & M.A. Podar Hospital, Mumbai focuses on Ayurvedic pharmaceutical science, including the identification, purification, processing and preparation of herbal, mineral and metal-based medicines. The programme provides advanced theoretical and practical training in classical Ayurvedic pharmaceutical techniques, formulation development, quality control, dosage forms, safety and therapeutic applications. Postgraduate scholars also undertake practical laboratory work, research activities and dissertation work related to Ayurvedic drug preparation and pharmaceutical practices.

1. Appear for and qualify AIAPGET
2. Register for the applicable AYUSH PG counselling
3. For All India Quota seats, participate in AACCC PG counselling; state quota seats are handled through the respective state counselling authority
4. Complete registration and choice filling, selecting MD (Ayurveda) – Rasashastra Evam Bhaishajyakalpana at R.A. Podar Medical College
5. Participate in the applicable merit-based seat allotment/CAP rounds
6. If allotted a seat, complete document verification
7. Pay the prescribed fees and complete the college admission formalities
8. Report to the college within the prescribed deadline to confirm admission
