Overview

The MD (Ayurveda) in Rachana Sharir is a three-year postgraduate program that focuses on the in-depth study of human anatomy as described in classical Ayurvedic texts along with its correlation to modern anatomical science. The course covers detailed concepts of body structure, organ systems, embryology, and dissection techniques, helping students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding. It emphasizes the interpretation of ancient Ayurvedic principles related to Sharir Rachana and integrates them with contemporary medical insights. Students are trained in research methodology, teaching skills, and academic writing, making the program ideal for those interested in careers in medical education, research, or specialized Ayurvedic practice. The presence of an attached hospital and academic infrastructure at GACH provides hands-on exposure and a strong learning environment throughout the course.
