MD (Ayurveda) in Dravya Guna

The MD (Ayurveda) – Dravyaguna programme at R.A. Podar Medical College (Ayu.) & M.A. Podar Hospital, Mumbai focuses on the scientific and clinical study of medicinal plants and Ayurvedic drugs, including their identification, properties, therapeutic actions and uses in disease management. The department provides postgraduate scholars with training in classical Ayurvedic knowledge as well as rational and contemporary approaches to the therapeutic use of medicinal plants. Practical learning is supported by the college's herbal garden and museum, with herbs also used in the preparation of medicines for hospital patients.

1. Appear for and qualify AIAPGET, the common entrance examination for postgraduate Ayurveda programmes
2. Register for the applicable AIAPGET counselling for All India Quota or the Maharashtra State counselling for state quota seats
3. Complete the required registration and choice filling, selecting MD (Ayurveda) – Dravyaguna Vigyan at R.A. Podar Medical College
4. Participate in the applicable merit-based seat allotment/CAP rounds
5. If allotted a seat, complete document verification
6. Pay the prescribed admission/tuition fees and complete the college's joining formalities
7. Report to the college within the stipulated period to confirm admission
