MD (Ayurveda) in Agad Tantra

MD Agad Tantra specialises in Ayurvedic toxicology and forensic science. The department trains students to identify and manage various toxins—from plant and animal poisons to chemical and industrial contaminants. The curriculum covers clinical aspects of poisoning, forensic medicine (Vidhi Vaidyaka), medico-legal standards, documentation, and toxicological analysis. Students also explore modern socio-environmental concerns like food adulteration, air and water pollution, and practice medico-legal aspects related to Ayurvedic healthcare. The program emphasises both traditional Ayurvedic texts and modern forensic methodologies, preparing graduates for academic, clinical, and regulatory roles.
