Eligibility Criteria

MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Completion of compulsory rotating internship (CRRI) prior to the academic session start.
Valid NEET-PG score in the relevant admission year.
NMC or State Medical Council registration at the time of admission.
Meet the minimum percentile/cut-offs and eligibility requirements set by the NEET-PG counselling authorities.

Minimum Education

The M.D. in Anaesthesia (Anaesthesiology) at Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Koppal is a three-year postgraduate medical program designed to develop specialists in anesthesia and perioperative patient care. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by the National Medical Commission, ensuring standardized medical training.
The curriculum provides in-depth knowledge and extensive clinical exposure in anesthetic techniques for general, regional, and local anesthesia, airway management, critical care medicine, pain management, and perioperative patient monitoring. Training emphasizes patient safety, evidence-based practices, and participation in operating theatre duties, intensive care units (ICU), emergency procedures, and postoperative management.
