MD Anesthesiology

Overview

The MD in Anaesthesiology at Madhubani Medical College & Hospital is designed to train medical graduates in anesthesia administration, perioperative medicine, and pain management. The program provides hands-on experience in operation theaters, ICUs, and emergency units, preparing residents to manage patients during surgical procedures and in critical care situations. Residents are trained in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, mechanical ventilation, advanced airway management, and pain relief techniques. The course also emphasizes trauma care, obstetric anesthesia, and resuscitation skills. Eligibility

• MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution.
• Completion of one-year rotatory internship.
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
• Must qualify NEET-PG examination conducted by NBE.
• Admission through BCECEB PG Medical Counseling (Bihar).
