MD Anatomy

MBBS degree from an NMC-approved institution.

Completion of required compulsory rotating internship (before a given cutoff date, as per institute/NMC regulations).

Qualify in the entrance exam for postgraduate medical courses (i.e. NEET PG).

1. The MD Anatomy programme at AIMS Bellur is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of human anatomy — covering macroscopic (gross) anatomy, microscopic anatomy (histology), embryology, neuroanatomy, and anatomical variations. At AIMS Bellur, the PG course is delivered by a dedicated Department of Anatomy, supported by an affiliated teaching hospital with significant bed strength (- which supports teaching and dissections, cadaveric studies, and anatomy-lab training).
2. Students enrolling in MD Anatomy at AIMS Bellur benefit from: a structured 3-year curriculum, access to anatomy labs, teaching-hospital infrastructure, and a campus that provides hostel accommodation for PG students.

Given the non-clinical nature of Anatomy (compared to e.g. MD Medicine or MD Surgery), graduates typically become educators, anatomy instructors in medical colleges, or may pursue anatomy-related academic or research roles. 4. On allotment of seat: complete required admission formalities — submission of MBBS mark sheets, internship certificate, NEET PG scorecard, identity proof, and other required documents. (Standard for PG admissions; though I did not find a detailed stepwise “document-checklist + dates + reporting + hostel allotment” publicly available for AIMS.)
5. Pay the applicable tuition fee + hostel / other fees (if opting for institute hostel).
6. Begin academic training for MD Anatomy as per the institute schedule.
