Master of Science (MSc) in Psychiatric Nursing

• The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
• The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of:B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc (H) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after P.B.B.Sc Nursing.
• Candidate shall be medically fit.
• 5% relaxation of marks for SC / ST candidates may be given.

The following documents are to be submitted with the application form:

• Attested copy of Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or Higher Secondary Certificate (10+1) (Separate date of birth certificate, if date of birth is not given in School Certificate.)
• Attested copy of the B.Sc (N) mark sheet & degree or Post basic B.Sc (N) mark sheet & degree.
• Attested copy of State Nursing Council Registration.
• Attested copy of Medical Fitness Certificate on prescribed Performa from registered Medical Officer.
• Attested copy of work experience certificate (with clarification of nature of work).
• Six-passport size Color photographs.
• If belonging to SC / ST / OBC / DT / NT / NT1 / NT2 / NT3 / NT4 etc. (Enclose copies of Caste Certificate).
• Attested copy of certificate from Sponsoring Authority (if required).
• Self addressed stamped envelope.
• Foreign students are required to submit a certificate indicating proficiency in English language.
• Foreign students are required to submit transcript of records in Theory and Practical Hours and a copy of syllabus.
• Original certificate of migration.
• Original certificate of Eligibility.
