Master of Science (MSc) in Optometry

Overview

The Master of Optometry (M.Optom) at TSNA is a two-year, full-time postgraduate program aimed at developing competent eye-care professionals. Students are trained to co-manage eye disorders, perform advanced clinical assessments, and conduct India‑centric research in sub-specialties such as community eye care, paediatric/geriatric vision, occupational optometry, and sports vision. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on clinical training under expert optometrists and ophthalmologists, case reporting, journal review, and opportunities for conference involvement and research publication. Facilities include modern clinics, NABL-accredited labs, and access to a world-class library. 

Eligibility

Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry (4-year undergraduate) from a recognized university

Meet any additional academic/credential requirements from affiliating university

Selection process includes written test, skill-based evaluation, and personal interview

Minimum Education
