Master of Science (MSc) in Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing

• Passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Honors) in Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing by The Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai or any other University accepted as equivalent there to, with a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks.
• Registered with the State Registration Council for Nursing and Midwifery/alternate course approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of Midwifery. Male candidates who do not possess Midwifery registration certificate are not eligible to apply for M.Sc. (N) – Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and Community Health Nursing, irrespective of experience in the area.
• Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or in a college or in a School of Nursing or in a Community Health Programme from the date of registration in the State Nursing Council after B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Honors) in Nursing (or) after/prior to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (regular stream).
