Master of Science (MSc) in Nursing

• The candidates should be B.Sc. Nursing /Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc Hons. Nursing trained from the recognized Institutions not less than 55% aggregate marks. The candidates should be registered as registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) B.Sc/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with H.P State Nurses registration council Shimla/ any State Nursing Registration council at the time of counselling.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and after B.Sc. Nursing from
• the date of registration at the time of counselling.
• The age of female candidates should be between 17 to 35 years and upper age can be relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates or as directed by HP Nurses Registration Council and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and at the time of admission Candidate should be physically/mentally fit.

Required documents at the time of submitting application (for registration):

• Attested photocopy of Birth Certificate/Matric (10th) duly attested for proof of age.
• Attested photocopy of Marks cards of the qualifying exam i.e. 10+2.
• Attested photocopy of Character/conduct certificate issued by the College/School last studied.
• Domicile Certificate (2 copies) H.P Bonafide certificate.
• Schedule cast and Schedule Tribe Certificate from Tehsildar or Sub-Divisional Magistrate if applicable.
• Two – passport size photograph duly attested.
• Self addressed envelope with 6 rupees stamp affixed.
