Master of Science (MSc) in Microbiology

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of the one-year compulsory rotating internship.
• Registration with the State Medical Council / NMC.
• Valid NEET PG score.
• Meeting cut-off ranks / percentile for category (General / OBC / SC / ST etc.).

Because MS Microbiology is not officially offered (per available sources), there is no detailed program overview for that exact course. However, we do have information about MD Microbiology at Adesh Medical College & Hospital, which is a 3-year postgraduate degree. The Microbiology Department has a well-equipped BSL-2 molecular lab, participates in diagnostics, hospital infection control, antimicrobial stewardship, and trains students in molecular biology, virology, serology, etc. If “MS Microbiology” were to be structured, it would presumably follow similar infrastructure and academic rigour, but there are no indications of surgical training or operations, which makes the MS designation unlikely.
