Master of Science (MSc) in Environment Biotechnology

• Gujarat Biotechnology University offers a 2-year full-time MSc Programme that provides the knowledge and skills to develop products to aid in securing the environment for future generations. Students taking this course will be exposed to a suite of techniques and research-led teaching that will provide a robust foundation in applying their knowledge to help combat challenges such as pollution, ecological integrity, and the impacts of climate change.

This programme will cover;

1. Soil, air and water resource management and remediation; carbon storage in soil
2. Biodiversity and conservation strategies
3. Biological solutions to urban life; avoidance, re- and upcycling of urban waste
4. Organic and low input systems, sustainability of food production
5. Principles of the circular economy and sustainable product design
6. Community-based environmental sustainability
7. Strategies against anti-microbial resistance (AMR) and zoonotic diseases

A candidate who has passed a Bachelor's degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
