Master of Science (MSc) in Community Health Nursing

• The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. 
• The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

The course is designed to assist students in developing expertise and indepth understanding in the field of Community Health Nursing. It would help students to appreciate holistic life style of individuals, families & groups and develop skills to function as Community Health Nurse specialist/practitioner. It would further enable student to function as an educator, manager and
researcher in the field of Community Health nursing.

Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by University or competent authority.
