Master of Science (MSc) in Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing

• The candidate should have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) /B.Sc., Hons (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc., (Nursing) from an Institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council to admission in M.Sc. (N) copy with minimum of 55% aggregate marks and 5% relaxation of marks for SC and ST candidates.
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Candidate shall be medically fit.
• Age Limit: Both the Service and Non-service candidates should not have completed 45 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission; for candidates belonging to SC/ST the maximum age limit shall be 48 years.
• The candidates who qualified Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from IGNOU through distance education are also eligible, if Indian Nursing Council recognizes the study centre.
• Medium of Instruction is ENGLISH only.

The aim is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as nurse specialists, consultants, educators, administrators in a wide variety of professional settings.
