Master of Science (MSc) in Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing

• The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council.
• The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• NOTE: Simultaneous attendance in other courses is not permitted.

This programme is designed for experienced graduate nurses to develop higher competencies in professional nursing education and research. The courses of study includes teaching in Advance Nursing Practice, Education, Research and specialization in selected clinical nursing areas through creative and independent work. The programme aims at developing leadership abilities in these areas. As part of curriculum requirement students do on independent research study under the guidance of the faculty.
