Master of Science (MSc) in Nursing

1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. 2. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc Nursing /Bsc Hons Nursing/Post Basic B.sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

M.Sc. Nursing is Post Graduation program which is of two years duration. By attaining this education the candidate is groomed as highly skilled and two steps ahead in professional development. While studying M.Sc. Nursing the teaching is incorporated with clinical experience in the respective specialties i.e. – Psychiatric Nursing, Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing. As part of their curricular requirements the students get opportunity for conducting research as per their specialty subject. They also get exposure of planning, organizing & conducting CNE (Continuing Nursing Education) programme like workshop, seminars, panel discussion & symposium etc.
