Overview
This course is designed to assist students in developing expertise and in depth understanding in the field of Oncology Nursing. It will help students to develop advanced skills for Nursing intervention in various oncological conditions. It will enable the student to function as oncology nurse Practitioner/Specialist and provide quality care. It will further enable the student to function as educator, manager and researcher in the field of Oncology Nursing.

Eligibility
- Candidates should have the minimum qualification of B.Sc. Hons'/ B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Institution recognized by the Indian nursing Council with a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks.
- Candidate should be a Registered nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
- The candidates should have at least one year of experience in approved Hospital with a minimum of 100 beds or in a College or School of Nursing or in community Health setting/ progmmme after registration in the state nursing council.
- Candidates with Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing should have at least a minimum of one year work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing after registration in the state nursing council.
