Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Physiology

Overview

M.Sc. Medical Physiology is a three-year post-graduate programme focused on equipping students with an in-depth knowledge of human physiology. The programme exposes students to studies involving many organism functions. This not only stimulates thoughts regarding therapeutic and health-promoting opportunities but also encourages thoughts to experiment with modification of one function to bring changes in other functions.

Eligibility

• M.Sc. Programme of three years: The admission of three years course shall be made on the basis of entrance test or merit in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have passed the three years B.Sc. degree course with zoology and chemistry as the major subject or B.Sc. in Life Sciences or B.Sc. with anthropology as major subject or a degree equivalent to the above from any recognized university would be eligible for admission to the M.Sc. programme of three years.
• M.Sc. Programme of two years: Admission will be taken directly into IInd year(Lateral entry) of the above courses which will be opened to those having MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or B.P.T. qualification recognized form the concerned statutory council.
