Eligibility
- WB State Govt employee: 53 years as on 31.12.
- Others: No upper age limit (including ESI and Central Govt. employees).
- The candidate must pass any of the following courses from Institutes recognized by Indian Nursing Council and obtained registration/RNRM certificate from the State Nursing Council of any State of India.
- B. Sc. - Nursing
- B. Sc. (Hons.) – Nursing
- Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing
- Post Basic B.Sc. (Hons)- Nursing
- Post Basic B. Sc. -Nursing through distance education.
- Candidate must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate considering all academic years together in the examination mentioned above.
- WB State Govt employee: Minimum 3 years’ working experience after publication of result of the qualifying examinations (which is taken as the date of the final mark sheet) and by the last date of application.
- Others:1 year experience for candidates passed B. Sc. Nursing/B. Sc. (Hons.) Nursing after publication of final result and by the last date of application.
- 1 year experience for candidates passed Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Hons)- Nursing before or after publication of final result and by the last date of application.
- 1 year experience for candidates passed Post Basic B. Sc. - Nursing through distance education after publication of final result and by the last date of application.
- The candidate will not be admitted, if she is found medically unfit. the following Examination are to be done at IINR before admission (i) Physical Examination by a (Registered) medical practitioner , (ii) Chest x – ray PA view, (iii) Routine examination of Blood, urine and stool, (iv) Blood group & RH factor, (v) Eye testing.
- Candidates from vocational streams at any open school will not be accepted.
- Candidates must be able to read , write and express in Bengali and English.
- The candidates must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of West Bengal for at least 5 years uninterruptedly on the date of application.
- Only female Unmarried /Widow /Divorce can apply for the course.
- Course is fully residential.
