Overview
- The college has a separate building with a total built area of 76668sq.ft. It has spacious four UG class rooms and six PG class rooms and six nursing laboratories with essential equipments. The department has a separate nursing library with 6290 books and regularly subscribed Indian & Foreign Journals. Also, e-journals and e-books in ample numbers is accessible to students in the e-library of the college. A spacious auditorium (6000sq.ft) with 600 seating capacity is available for students programmes.
- The college of Nursing utilizes the staff and facilities available at Rajah Muthiah Medical College and the Rajah Muthiah Medical College Hospital which is a 1150 bedded hospital having 24 patient care units, situated opposite to the college which gives a rich experience for the practical learning of students. Students have adequate transportation and community centre facilities to care people in the rural and urban area. All the students are members of Students Nurses Association (SNA) and the students participate in various inter-collegiate competitions and at state and national level. Students actively participate in YRC, NSS, Rotary Club activities and in University competitions and students performing academically best are awarded endowment prizes. Separate Hostel named Tmt. Sigappi Achi Nursing Students Hostel is situated near to the college and it has bath attached rooms, separate mess and 24 hours electricity, R.O water supply and Wi-Fi network.

Eligibility
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc Nursing /Bsc Hons Nursing/Post Basic B.sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
