Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology

Candidate should have Bachlor degree of any stream of biological science, B.Sc. CBZ, B.Sc. CBZ with Biotechnology and B.Sc. Biotechnology with 45 % of marks.

Biotechnology is a field of applied branch of Biology. The post graduate programme provides students with subject specific knowledge and practical skills with the intention that the skills and knowledge help the students in professional employment or doctoral studies in the different areas of Biotechnology. The thrust areas of Biotechnology include Molecular Biology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Bioinformatics etc. Today, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics are a great help to traditional sciences, refreshing them with new methods of research and thus, help them remain competitive in the scientific world.

Admission will be on the basis of Entrance Exam /Merit
