Master of Science in Zoology

Overview

The M.Sc. Zoology program at Career College is a comprehensive two-year postgraduate course designed to deepen students’ knowledge in animal sciences. The curriculum spans biosystematics, invertebrate morphology, molecular and structural biology, comparative physiology, ecology, genetics, ichthyology, wildlife conservation, and aquaculture. Practical components include field studies, lab work, seminars, and an internship to prepare students for roles in research, environmental management, conservation agencies, academia, and Ph.D. pursuits. The Department supports research and field-driven learning under Barkatullah University’s affiliation.

Eligibility

Completed B.Sc. with Zoology as a core subject

Minimum 45% aggregate, some cases accept 33% for relevant backgrounds

Admission based on merit—percentage in qualifying B.Sc. exam (university counseling typically not required)

Required documents: mark sheets, degree certificate, migration/character certificate, ID proof, passport-sized photos, and category certificate if applicable
