Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) in Pharmaceutics

Overview

The proposed course aims to provide students with a broad theoretical background in design and development of novel pharmaceuticals, different pharmaceutical dosage forms including cosmeceuticals and neutraceuticals. In this 2 years Full Time Residential Course, specialized attention is given to Industrial applications of Pharmaceutics so that students are completely equipped to build professional careers into pharmaceutical industry, academics and drug regulatory organizations (State/ Central Drugs Control Authority, CDSCO, WHO etc.). The research are carried out in the field of New Drug Delivery Systems, BA/BE Studies,  Nanotechnology Based Formulation Development, Exploration of Natural molecules as Pharmaceutical Adjuvant, Standardization of Ayurvedic Drug/Polyherbal Formulations etc.

Eligibility

GPAT qualified candidates – Based on academic record and GPAT score
•    Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to GPAT Score and
•    20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation  marks  

Non-GPAT candidates – Based on academic record and Entrance Test
•    Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to marks obtained in Entrance Test and
•    20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation  marks
