Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) in Pharmacognosy

Overview

Pharmacognosy is a systematic study of drugs from natural sources and offers wide scope for research and development. Its research areas are continually expanding which include aspects of cell and molecular biology in relation to natural products, ethnobotany, ethnopharmacology and phytotherapy.

In addition, analytical method development and phytochemical analysis for the standardisation and characterisation of natural products is an important aspect of modern Pharmacognosy.

Eligibility

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in relevant stream from a recognized university.
