Overview
The Department of Pharmaceutics has state-of-the-art facilities that are as per the evolving needs current needs of pharmacy profession and as per PCI, AICTE. The laboratories are well equipped with various sophisticated machinery required for imparting knowledge to the students regarding various conventional and novel formulations , processing and testing equipment used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical dosage forms like tablets, capsules, liquids, semi-solids, parenteral and novel drug delivery systems like osmotic, colon targeted, gastroretentive, buccal, transdermal, nasal, nanoparticulate etc. The laboratories provide the students with facilities and training for the integrated product development.

Eligibility
- The candidates must hold the graduation degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy from an institute that is recognised by PCI.
- The candidate shall have passed B. Pharm. with minimum 55% For General Category (50% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates) at qualifying exam for M.Pharm Courses.
- Admissions to M.Pharm is strictly based on common entrance exam PGCET or GPAT qualification.

Admission Process:
- Admission process is done by The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat.
- After admitting GPAT qualified candidates having valid GPAT qualifying marks, the vacant seats, if any will be filled as per merit secured in Entrance Examination.
- The sponsored seats shall be filled as per Govt. of Gujarat Post Graduate Admission Rules, Guidelines and AICTE Guidelines.
