Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

• Students who have passed B.Pharm from approved college only are eligible for admission to M.Pharm. They Must have obtained at least 50 % marks in B.Pharm (for researvation and sponsored candidates 45%).
• Candidate should be an Indian National and who possess Bachelors degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved institutions, with at least 5O% marks (at least 45% marks in case of SC/ST category & Physically Handicapped candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

• The key task of the department is to provide knowledge in pharmaceuticals chemistry of drugs/medicines which is constantly offering first-rate opportunities to students against high quality educational experience. The department offers a M. Pharm. course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry jointly based on Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Analysis. The department endows wide opportunity to students and teaching staff to learn and analyse using sophisticated analytical Instruments like UHPLC, HPLC, HPTLC, GC, FT-IR and UV/Vis-Spectrophotometer independently during academic curriculum and ancillary research projects.

Faculties authored more than 16 books and witnessed their constant presence in the consultancy services pertaining to,

• Development and Validation of Analytical and Bioanalytical Methods
• Stability Studies of Drugs and Impurity Profiling
• Synthesis and biological evaluation of new chemical entities as antidiabetic, anticancer anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, anti- microbial.
• Synthesis of Pro-drugs and biological evaluation.
