The Master of Digital Health and Data Science at the University of Sydney is a cutting-edge postgraduate programme that brings together health professionals, engineers, data scientists and IT practitioners to drive innovation in healthcare. Students learn how digital technologies (including e-health, telehealth, mobile health, health informatics) combine with data science methods (such as machine learning, predictive modelling, data analytics) to optimise health service delivery, enhance patient outcomes and streamline health systems. The curriculum includes core units such as “Foundations of Digital Health” and “Foundations of Healthcare Data Science”, data science and digital health electives, and culminates in a capstone project delivering real-world impact.
